Teenage Ghost
Josh had freshly dyed black hair and wore heavy black eyeliner. His nails were painted jet black, and he’d thought several times of wearing black lipstick. He hadn’t bought it yet, he was still trying to decide.
He carried his clothes to school in his backpack and changed in the boy’s locker room. It was easy enough to do, he rode the school bus. The school bus arrived at school an hour before classes started. It gave him plenty if time to change clothes, put on his makeup, and fix his hair. Since both his parents worked, it was easy enough to take a shower when he got home and change into the “Norm”.
The school year so far had been bliss, he had Vi on his arm constantly. Always whispering some nonsense and kissing his neck lightly. He wouldn’t give her up for the world, she was everything to him.
They had a new group of friends. Jarzon was african american, he wore zombie blue contacts lens and had azure blue hair. His contacts were an actual prescription, he would be wearing glasses without them.
Lore, a Norwegian exchange student, was six feet tall and had unusual white hair. Lore commonly smoked clove cigarettes, and obsessed over vampires, werewolves, and all things supernatural.
Janus was asian american, he would sometimes show up in full kabuki costume and stay in character all day.
Josh was very pleased with his new unique friends. He enjoyed everyday learning something new. They weren’t bothered by societies norms. They were free, they had no boundaries to confine them.
They also didn’t have a lot of girls hanging out with them. Vi seemed to be the only Goth at the high school.
That was odd to Vi, especially with two high schools combined. She couldn’t imagine a school year passing by where she didn’t have a girl gang to feed off of. She needed their energy, she felt stronger when she had a few lackeys around.
