Vampires
“The tests are conclusive. The last generation of humans were born without any defects or illness of any kind.” The Doctor explained to Alfonz and Viktor. “I grew and replaced organs for several generations to slowly breed out the diseases. I believe every generation after these will have pure blood of the highest standard.”
Alfonz smiled. “When they come of breeding age, let them mass produce. Take the strongest and healthiest for the breeding stock.”
The Doctor nodded and went back to his work.
“The Elders will be striking soon.” Alfonz said to Viktor. “We are too close to our goal.” he stood up and looked out into the courtyard where Utheus and Argon trained. “It is time to unleash the dogs. By the time news reaches the Elders we will already have our army raised and fed on pure virgin blood.” He turned to Viktor, “Send them to raise their army.”
Viktor nodded and walked to the courtyard.
“OH!” Utheus shouted in anger when he saw Viktor from the corner of his eye. He pushed Argon face first into the ground and briskly walked away. “You!” Utheus pointed his broadsword at Viktor as he approached. “You promised War and Glory.”
“And now is the time.” Viktor said plainly.
Utheus lowered his sword. He didn’t ask why it had taken so long, he asked nothing at all. He waited for his next command.
“Pick the strongest men you can trust to fight against not only mankind but Vampire as well.” Viktor gave the order. “You will command the army, you are responsible for the army, you will pick the army.”
Utheus smiled, his rotted teeth all appeared behind his broad grin.
Viktor knew telling the brute would amount to nothing, still he had to say it. “Try not to bring attention to yourself, or your mission.”
Utheus nodded in confirmation.
“Raise your army, bring them back here to train, and above all else do not arouse suspicion.” Viktor repeated.
“Understood.” Utheus nodded and walked off the courtyard, Argon following close behind.
