It Could Happen…

When we first reported the conditions at Fullherst Permanent holding, human rights activists were up in arms over the inhumane treatment of inmates.
Their fears have been more than realized. Reports from unnamed guards have pin pointed human rights abuses beyond those imagined.
While at first inmates were held in secure conditions, now inmates suffer daily abuses that range from starvation to severe psychological torture.
Dr. Boehning justifies the obvious violation of human rights by stating the law. The law states that once convicted, the criminal has forfeited all rights human or otherwise.
“Traditional methods can only get us so far into the mind of a Psychotic.” Dr. Boehning states. “We’ve exhausted our resources and the results have remained the same. We are no closer to unlocking the mysteries of the mind than we started fifteen years ago. Once we turned to unconventional methods we began to see results again. Taking them outside their comfort zone and recording the results. This is where the real progress is being made. According to the results we’re seeing, no one can deny the success.”
The method however is highly questionable.
Videos have been leaked of prisoners locked in black out conditions for longer than seventy eight hours. Often without food of water. Some inmates are forced to listen religious teachings without end. Others are forced to listen to certain types of music, to keep them on edge.
Every outburst, word spoken, and reaction recorded.
The newest form of “Treatment” consists of an inmate being prescribed a variety of drugs. The initial reports were hopeful. Angry sporadic outbursts were put under control. However, now there seems to be medical testing on the inmates. Fullherst is one of seven Permanent Holding facilities currently accepting grants and other funds from such pharmaceutical companies as Astor, Margan, and Devron.
Devron has a government contract at present to develop chemical weapons. Reports last year of “Test subjects” brought about revelations that rocked the pharmaceutical industry.
Human right activists have been picketing permanent holding facilities and holding candlelight vigils. Lawmakers refuse to take notice.
Congress has stated that neither on a federal or state level can they afford the brunt of the cost of maintaining an incarceration rehabilitation program.
“Tax payers are not going to like another tax hike.” Rep. Douglas Wint (Ala) “They are unwilling to spend their hard earned dollars on people who have no respect for the law or human life.”
Human rights activists continue to lodge complaints. Filing lengthy complaints on behalf of the inmates which only allows the courts to drag out cases indefinitely.
“It’s a them or me mentality.” Dr. Boehning explained. “There’s no way the average joe is giving up any of his comforts so someone who doesn’t deserve it can have it. No own wants to reward a law breaker. No. They want them to suffer for their crimes.”
