Serial Killer

Andy knew ahead of time it would come to this, that was why the door opened to the outside. He would not have to kick it in and hurt her. He gripped the doorknob tightly and jerked the door open with one try.
Alicia’s hands had been so sweaty with fear and anxiety, the doorknob slipped out of her grasp from the intense jerking motion. She fell backwards with a great force and began to try to scramble away on the floor. She felt a sharp sting in her right thigh, right before a burning sensation all through her body. Everything began to get blurry, she tried once again to claw the floor and get away. Everything went black.
Alex slammed the door shut and locked it. He tossed all the yard furniture in the back of the truck. Nothing was left outside the trailer. Then he hooked it up to the back of the truck, glancing at the time he only had fifteen minutes. The truck started without fail, the engine growled as he revved the motor. Then he was off, down the back stretch maze of dirt roads.
By the time the officer reached the place they had been, Andy was already on open highway.
After driving the rest of the afternoon, Andy drove down several long winding lonely dirt roads. Finally he reached his destination as the moon was high enough in the sky to light the pasture. There was no running water here, nor a septic tank to hook the bathroom up to. He hoped his guest enjoyed bathing in a barrel in the great outdoors. This place was far more remote than one he had before, there was no place for him to go hide during the day. He hoped she liked his company since now she would be having more of it.
