Meanwhile…
Jabetto walked down the hallway and noticed a skeleton walking towards him. It was wearing nothing more than a burlap hooded robe over his bare bones. “Han’Drax?” Jabetto questioned.
The skeleton’s eyes glowed red.
Jabetto heard beeping noises coming from every device he was carrying. Low battery all at once. A really bad feeling crept over him, but it was already too late.
Han’Drax watched Jabetto fall unconscious to the ground as if his battery too had been depleted. He removed all the gadgets, and fitted Jabetto with an inhibitor. He held his hand up in the air, both Jabetto and his pile of gadgets vanished.
Han’Drax walked down many twisting corridors til he reached the room Jamie and the others were in.
Zariaha sat on the bed, silent tears streamed endlessly down her face. She made no noise or movement, except the movement of her eyelids.
“Did you find anyone?” Mesiaha pushed off the far wall and walked towards the Underworlder.
“No.” Han’Drax replied then walked over to Jamie. “I can not undo her spell, only she can wake the boy. I have done all I can here, it is time for me to return.”
“Where?” Mesiaha asked but he had already faded out.
“Jas, you gon have ta stop Sertoff.” Jonothan didn’t sound convinced of it himself as he said the words.
I turned to face him and narrowed my eyes, “That’s not a likely scenario. Name me a time I defeated Sertoff.”
“Rhisma.”
I looked away, “I didn’t defeat him.”
Jonothan walked up behind and softly set his hands on my shoulders. “You can do it, Jas”, he cooed in my ear.
