Original X-roads-2003
Sertoff looked at the Queen, then she collapsed to the ground as if the life had just vanished from her body.
I felt fear in every part of me, and I could feel that everyone else did too. Including Jonothan.
Sertoff walked over and picked up his weapons. “You want to know how to stop me Jasylin?” he looked straight at me.
I was one hundred percent certain I did not, because there was no way. Now.
He half laughed, then returned to seriousness. “Marry me.” he stated simply.
“Oh that’s one heck of a proposal.” Harley couldn’t hold his tongue. “Over the dead bodies.”
“Hold yo’r tongue.” Jonothan warned him quickly.
“You’re joking.” I looked at Sertoff with disgust.
“The slaughter ends when you’re with me.” Sertoff said flatly and raised his blaster aiming at the end of the hallway.
Prince Dion suddenly rounded the corner in tears. He was running straight towards us.
“Dion NO!” I screamed at the top of my lungs, but the blaster shot went off as the last syllable left my mouth. I looked away, he never misses.
“I’m sorry, Jas.” Jonothan offered softly.
A tear rolled down my cheek, then a thought raced to my mind. My friends! I glanced at Jonothan.
The blue light enveloped us and we stood in the same room as a sleeping Jamie, a frazzled Mesiaha, and an in shock Zariaha.
“What happened?” I asked in shock.
“We don have no time.” Jonothan remarked as he knelt down to look at Zariahas face.
In less that second we were in Jonothans castle again, but I couldn’t help but wonder exactly how safe we were here.
