It was impossible really to tell the time in the room, no one came down the hallway, there was no window.

“What are you worried about?” Sertoff asked.

“I’m worried you’re never gonna leave.”

“Well I would say you have cause for that.” he settled against the wall.

I narrowed my eyes, then decided to make the time pass quicker I would just go to sleep.

He nudged me right as I laid down, “Now why would I make this easy on you?”

“For crying out loud, you have to stay awake as much as I do.”

“And we both get cranky, how long do you think this is going to last. Make it easy on yourself, as if you ever do.”

“Get over it.” I pushed him but he didn’t move. I got up, and moved away, I could see how it was gonna be.

“We do have a war to fight,” he moved closer.

“Oh let them kill Kilji for all I care.” I moved away again. “Do you mind? Give me some space.” I moved away.

“Actually I don’t have to give you anything, you have to give me something.”

I closed my eyes and rolled them, “Ok what do you want?”

“Make me an offer I can’t refuse.”
