The old man motioned to the table and chairs. He poured some stew from the pot in a bowl and set it on the table.
Rasfer sat down glad for the meal, the old man sat across from him.
“You know about Gart Hesmith, and the way of thinking he had?” Rasfer began talking between bites of food.
“Well aware.” the old man said hurriedly. “And well ahead of you, I knew the reason Asron was attacked. I know who did it. What I want to know is how bad is the damage.”
“Most of the city has been burned, it will takes months to rebuild. There was a lot slaughtered, too many to count.” Rasfer pushed the stew away having lost his appetite all of the sudden. “You wont believe this, no one will. They have a Demon working for them.”
“A demon?”
“He pulls lightening out of the sky.”
The old man was suddenly very interested, “Lightening did you say?”
