I raised my eyebrows and followed him in.
Sertoff walked over to his chair and sat, studying me for a moment. “Your opponent uses his eyes about as much as you do.” he took a sip from his bottle and waited for my response.
“So?” I glanced at his bottle, “We’re not going to be close enough for him to see us. Besides, I’m already going to train them to defeat me, you, Daemon, everyone.”
“Hmmph.” Sertoff settled back in chair and grabbed his bottle.
“What?” I half glared at him, “You don’t think I can do it?”
He glared at me from out of the corner of his eye, “Stupid little girl, you don’t know thing one about War.”
I blinked my eyes in disbelief then stood up from my chair. “If I wasn’t trying to be so lady like I would tell you where to go and what to do.” I grabbed the back of my chair and slammed it under the table. “But no matter. I’ll show you…” I glanced at Daemon who seemed to be holding back laughter, “All of you.”
“Watch it Assassin.” I heard Sertoff rise from his chair after I turned my back. “I might show you a thing or two if you keep dis-respecting me.”
I turned to see him standing a mere inch away, I drew in a breath. “I’m tired of being beneath you. Even the Robe knows I beat you, fair and square. So where in the hell is my respect?” I kept my voice calm.
“Care to try it again?” his steel eyes bore down on me as I heard his hand shift to his sword.
