Original X-roads-2003
“Stop!” Sertoff ordered. “We need him.” he warned as I heard the blaster charge.
I don’t care, people like him don’t deserve to live. I pulled up his head and smashed it against the stone. There was a cracking noise, then he laid there motionless and cold. I slowly stood up from him, my breathing slow and easy.
His eyes opened.
I jumped back for a second, then reached for my sword. I picked it up and walked to the Emperor who laid on the ground looking at me, daring me to cut off his head. I raised it up, and looked at him coldly.
The shot knocked the sword from my hands and melted it, I turned and glared at Sertoff.
He set the blaster back in his jacket, “I said we need him.”
“You’re sooo lucky.” I glared at Kilji. “This time.” I warned and walked away from him.
The soldiers released the girl, she turned and grabbed hold of two of them smashing them against the wall. I heard their skulls crack then they fell motionless to the ground, the other two helped up their fallen Emperor.
“I’m Jas.” I muttered to her as I picked up my dagger.
Sertoff walked beside me, “We don’t need another Look-Out.”
Kilji was now standing, “You will pay for this Assassin.”
I rolled my eyes, “Yeah I bet.” I know I will, but not today.
The girl walked past us, pushing Sertoff out of her way as she passed.
