Original X-roads-2003
Sertoff’s blaster charged, I reached over and jerked it into the air as it missed her head by a mere two inches.
“What are you trying to do?” I scolded him and chased after her. I caught up with her, “You need to join us.” I tried to persuade her.
She half glared at me, “I don’t need anyone.”
“Pfft, that’s not what it looked like a couple of minutes ago.”
She stopped and pushed me slightly away from her, “I didn’t ask for your friggin help in the first bloomin place. You should have kept to yourself, you’ve not the first idea about me.”
I raised an eyebrow at her. What am I talking to myself here? This chicks name should be Jasylin, she acts just like me.
“I’m nothing like you, you bloody Assassin!” she turned and started walking off.
“Ooo.” I said sarcastically as I followed her out of the castle. “Look here,” I called out to her as she walked further away. “You’re going to end up with us one way or another. Trust me I know these things.”
“Not today, I’m not.” She pressed a small black button on her belt and disappeared.
I shrugged, “She’ll come around, they always do.”
Jamie rushed up to me, “Hey! Yur not gonna believe thiz but, we gotta git outta here fast!”
I glanced at him in confusion, “Why?”
