There was a clanging noise as I glanced up, Sertoff’s entire troop of men was rushing towards us.
“Come on.” I grabbed his left hand and dragged him towards the Training Facility. “These guys don’t scare me, I have men too.” I shoved the door open.
My men stood at attention, as if they could read my mind they drew their weapons and rushed out. They waited for Sertoff’s men to arrive in a block formation.
Sertoff rushed alongside his men and stopped them as they turned the corner and faced us.
“Knock it off Sertoff.” I warned from where I stood, which was behind my men.
He charged his blaster and directed it at my head.
“You’re dead where you stand if you do.” I glared at him.
“We’re not gettin anywhere thiz way.” Jamie observed. “It’z jest the same ol same ol, jest now you got men standin in the way.”
“It’s beyond that.” I walked from behind the men. “You would so willingly die for a man who would betray you to the enemy.”
