Pathway to Destiny

Meanwhile…

Mesiaha walked to the training ground and noticed something almost familiar to her. The clothes she had seen before, but it was if by some distant memory.
Jet black curls, fell down the back of the outfit just past the shoulder blades. Skin the color of gingerbread was taut against well toned muscles.
Quickly the figure turned around and lowered black sunglasses to look over them at whomever was sneaking up on him.
Mesiaha was taken aback. “Seleq Major. What are you doing here?”
“More to the question, what are you doing here?” Seleq pushed his sunglasses back up. “You haven’t got the training of a knight.” He chortled rudely, “You haven’t the service of a knight.” He turned his back to her, “Sertoff is wasting his time on you. If he could only see it.”
‘I thought he was insane.’, Mesiaha thought as she walked further into the training ground. She stopped when she saw the men, who were once a band of misfits, fighting like seasoned professionals. She saw Sertoff standing in the far right corner of the courtyard, watching the men train.
Suddenly there was a flash of purple light that only Seleq, Sertoff, and Mesiaha noticed.
Zariaha looked at the spectacle. “The lost men are Found, and the insane made sane.”, her eyes rested on Seleq. She then turned sharply to Sertoff, “This is your doing.”
Sertoff replied sharply, “Speak your peace, Witch.”
Zariaha looked as if he had slapped her in the face. She stood mouth open, with out a word to say. She loved him.
Sertoff began to walk slowly towards her.
Zariaha looked down at her revealing clothes. Nothing would ever satisfy him. She glanced back up at him. Her words came out meekly, “I wanted to marry you.”. She could feel herself shake a little from the core of her being, but she wasn’t sure if it was anger or fear.
